North West based Puddle Ducks, which specialises in providing swimming lessons for babies and children across the UK, has announced a partnership with leading UK short break operator, Butlin’s, to deliver swimming programmes to under three’s at their seaside resorts.
Butlin’s recently announced plans to extend its award winning ‘Just for Tots’ breaks to offer ‘Teeny Tots’ - the youngest of guests - a comprehensive programme of activities designed especially to meet their needs and Puddle Ducks surfaced as a perfect partner. The children’s swimming specialist will deliver an industry leading programme during selected breaks from September 2016.
Puddle Ducks co-founder Tracy Townend said: “We are delighted to be working with Butlin’s. They are all about creating great experiences and memories for children and families and their resorts have outstanding swimming facilities. It makes total sense to be offering families this opportunity to teach babies and pre-school children a new life skill in a safe environment. It really is never too young to start enjoying water based fun which will hopefully turn into a passion for swimming that will last a lifetime.”
Puddle Ducks was hatched in 2001 and is now nationally leading the way in its mission to teach children up to the age of 10 to swim. Currently Puddle Ducks teach 16,000 children every week in 32 branches across the UK.
Hywel Lewis, Butlin’s Partnerships Manager said, “We are really proud of our Just For Tot’s breaks and are always looking for ways to make them even more enjoyable for families with children under five. As part of our continued drive for innovation we created ‘Teeny Tots’ – an industry leading break for our youngest guests (0-2 years). Puddle Ducks has impressed us from day one, their industry expertise, energy and enthusiasm for teaching children (and parents!) how to swim and enhance their water confidence is a fantastic addition to the product.”
