Our favourite TOT competition for Summer 2022 has delivered some wonderful entries as always, with over 124 nominations it was by no means an easy task for our Judge this time.
A huge thank you to Helen who owns the Adelaide Grange pool for taking on the very difficult job of judging over 124 nominations!

Not only is Jane an amazing teacher but she is amazing with Eliza, always taking the time to explain things and encouraging her. Eliza's confidence since being in Jane’s lesson has sky rocketed and I have Jane to thank for that!

Teacher Lisa Leake
Lisa always takes the time with every child to ensure they are given an equal opportunity to develop their skills. She ensures the lessons are the perfect balance of fun and informative. Lisa’s happy and caring nature is everything you’d want in a teacher. It certainly puts Seth at ease which I gave no doubt is helping him to learn and become more comfortable in the water.

Teacher Rebecca Pridmore
Who needs 150 words when you can describe Rebecca in just one?! AWESOME! Rebecca is hero-worshipped in our house by my two young boys. They both absolutely adore her and look forward to swimming each week! Rebecca’s passion, enthusiasm & drive for all children in her classes to succeed, radiates through her beaming smile & her positive, encouraging teaching style. Devon & Rowan are like chalk & cheese when it comes to water confidence, yet Rebecca knows how to get the best out of each of them. We’ve been on our swimming journey with Rebecca for over 7 years now and I’m so grateful that we found such a fabulously talented teacher! Rebecca, we think you’re a star!

She makes you and the children really comfortable. the kids really like her. she is very engaging and even when sometimes perhaps the children aren’t in the mood she manages to change their mind and they have fun. highly recommend.

Emma is a very enthusiastic teacher. She engages with all children amazingly. Emma is very helpful and guides all parents how to safely handle their children when teaching them to swim.

Teacher Kayleigh Holt
Kayleigh is a brilliant swim teacher, my son Odin loves swimming but sometimes he finds the water a little overwhelming and will often get distracted or not want to join in, Kayleigh takes time to interact with Odin, understands when he doesn’t want to take part. Kayleigh is a fun, inspirational swim teacher and having been through a few puddle ducks teachers she is certainly the best!

Teacher Olivia Woodrow-Smith
Liv has so much patience, as Josh is quite a handful! She must have eyes in the back of her head as she can always spot when Josh might need her (usually because he is doing something he shouldn’t be). Along with Alice, she makes every lesson fun and engaging for Josh and plays along with his games of search for the sea creatures on the bottom of the pool. His confidence has massively improved and that is mainly down to all the extra support and time that Liv has put in with Josh. For someone so young, Liv is incredible and an asset to the Puddle Dusks company. In Josh’s words “Liv is the best swimming teacher because she is lovely and she keeps me out of trouble!”

Lou is amazing! We started lessons when Olive was just four weeks old and Lou made us feel so welcome from day one. Her knowledge and experience is top class! She knows every child by name, she makes every class fun and enjoyable. Olive adores Lou and gets so excited when she gets in the pool. So glad we chose to have the swimming lessons at Adelaide Grange.
