Being in Kent, we have a lot of children living by the coast and we want to teach them how to be safe around the water and that they must always be with an adult before entering the water. These talks are all about keeping children safe in the water and what they should do if they ever found themselves in a difficult situation and how to stay calm in the water.
The water talks are around 20 minutes long and are fun, engaging but also informative; we get the children up and moving and involve them in lifesaving skill activities.
The schools we have visited so far have really loved the talks and we have had a really positive response from the children, with a lot of questions being asked!
