Splashers classes are for babies between 6-15 months. If your baby is between 6-9 months and has no swimming lesson experience, you should book into our Floaties class.

Essential Pool Information
What to wear
Baby & Pre-school: A well-fitting neoprene swim nappy must be worn with a disposable swim nappy or one of our environmentally friendly NappyWraps & Liners underneath if your child is in Floaties, Splashers or Kickers and in other programmes if they are not yet fully potty/toilet trained.
We recommend one of our great value Baby Swimming Kits, which contain the swim lesson essentials at a fantastic price.
The pool is 30 degrees, babies under 12lb in weight or 12 weeks old might need a THERMAL WETSUIT or a BODY WARMER
Swim Academy: all children must wear suitable swimming outfits, goggles if they wish and a swimming hat. You will be given a swim hat at your class or feel free to bring your own.

Changing Rooms
Please remove your shoes just inside the changing rooms, by the bench.
Use a cubicle to change, and then place your belongings in one of the open lockers so other customers can use the cubicle.
Swim Academy children to change in smaller cubicles to rear of the changing rooms, to allow larger ones to be used by pre-school swimmers who require the space.
Bring any valuables with you to the poolside.
Please shower before entering the pool area.
Please use the yellow bins provided for nappies.
Additional Pool Information
Spectators allowed. Please be mindful of other swimmers and space available. Spectators must remove shoes before entering changing room.
To access the pool from the car parks:
Please follow the path to the main reception, where you will be required to sign in and collect a security control pass (this will be needed to access buildings).
To go to the pool, exit the reception via the Bistro (you will need to use your pass to open the double doors). Go down the steps opposite, or if you have a push chair, go to the left and follow the path to the slope alternative. Follow the green line down to the left and to the pool building. Once inside, go straight on and the changing room door will be on your right hand side. Use your security pass to enter the changing rooms.
Please then sign out at reception and return the pass when you leave the college.
Photography is allowed in 'splash time' only, at the end of the lesson and at teachers discretion. No videos allowed.
