We are really pleased to announce that Abby has retained her title and has once again been voted as our Teacher of the Term for Spring 2018!
Every term our swimmers and their families are invited to nominate their favourite teacher to enter them into our competition for Teacher of the Term. This is an opportunity for our families to let us know if they feel that their teacher has gone out of their way to make their child either feel special, progress in the water or overcome barriers to their swimming.
A great big thank you to Victoria from Bloom Classes who had the very difficult job of judging the nominations and choosing the one that she felt had the most impact.
Here is Abby’s winning nomination:
“Benjamin loves Abby. It’s that simple. He respects her and listens to her and she has taken the time to bond with him and with his autism that isn’t easy. He was bullied before as a non-swimmer. Now he can swim and he thanks Abby for it. X”
