Choosing a winning nomination
Nominations this term were judged by Chloe Radcliffe, who runs Bloom Baby Classes in Tameside and Glossop.
Chloe comments: "Thank you for letting me judge the competition, I really enjoyed reading through all of the lovely nominations! I found it so tricky to pick just one from the nominations as they’re all so lovely! What a wonderful set of teachers Puddle Ducks has!
I’ve chosen this one as the winning one as it is clear the child absolutely loves his teacher and is excited to go swimming because of her. It also says how she anticipates the needs of every child in class - I think it's so important for a teacher to know each child’s individual needs and abilities so they get the most out of their lessons."

The winning nomination
The winning nomination came from Dante's mother, Renata, who swims at our Aqua Nurture pool in Gee Cross.
"We nominate Holly. Holly is a real star! Dante loves his classes and Holly makes all of us feel so happy and comfortable. He is always excited when we get to Aqua Nurture for our lesson. She is not only professional, but she knows exactly how to communicate with children and their parents and anticipates the needs of every child during the class. We’ve tried a couple of different teachers, but when you tell Dante that Holly is waiting for him at the pool, the smile on his face speaks for itself!"
This term's wonderful winning nomination will now be sent on to our Head Office to be entered into the National Puddle Ducks Star Teacher award, good luck Holly!
