Our Puddle Ducks and Swim Academy Greater Manchester team are taking part in the Cancer Research Race for Life, Pretty Muddy 5k!!
Here at Puddle Ducks, we are passionate about helping charities both local and worldwide. We recently held a Charity Family Fun Day in aid of the amazing charity; Reuben's Retreat which you can read about here.
Every year we also organise a Pyjama Party where we ask our Puddle Ducks to come along to their lesson in their Pyjamas, which teaches them what it feels like to be in the water fully clothed. This allows them to put their water safety and life saving skills into practice as they will feel heavier in the water. Last year our Pyjama Party was in aid of Ollie's Army and our amazing little Puddle Ducks raised over £1300 for a local family battling against the very rare Batten's disease.
So, when our team found out that the Cancer Research Race for Life - Pretty Muddy 5k, was just around the corner in Heaton Park on July 13th, we had to get involved and do our bit to raise money and save lives.
Cancer is happening right now with 1 in 2 people being diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
We would love for you to help us, whether it be raising awareness for Cancer Research UK, coming along to Heaton Park to cheer us on or donating to this amazing cause.
Every little bit helps.

Thank you so much for helping us!
