We are super pleased to let you know that Abby has kept her title as Teacher of the Term once more for this Summer Term 2018!
Every term our swimmers and their families are invited to nominate their favourite teacher to enter them into our competition for Teacher of the Term. This is an opportunity for our families to let us know if they feel that their teacher has gone out of their way to make their child either feel special, progress in the water or overcome barriers to their swimming.
A massive thank you to the lovely Steph from Prospect Coaching who had the hard job of reading through all the wonderful nominations and choosing the one that she felt had the most impact.
Here is Abby’s winning nomination:
“Abbie has a wonderful personality and this shines through each and every lesson, she makes the teaching fun and exciting. Abbie ensures that the students understand the seriousness of water safety and how important this life skill is. During her lessons she takes each child's individual personality,strengths and weaknesses and provides them with the 'I can' attitude that is needed. Abbie encourages each child every step of the way during the class she is a fantastic teacher and very much deserves to win teacher of the year not just the term. Thank you for everything. ”
