Choosing a winning nomination
Nominations this term were judged by Rachel Mellish, who runs Rach's Wellness Loft
Rachel comments: “Being asked to judge the Spring Star Teacher award was a great honour and a really hard task! I especially loved the nomination I chose as the winning one because they linked it to their own development, and not just their little one's. It was also great that they talked about how much fun they had in the lessons too!"

The winning nomination
The winning nomination came from Albert's father, Danny, who swims at our Aqua Nurture pool in Gee Cross.
"I would like Trish to win Star Teacher for so many reasons, all of which are good. I can’t find a flaw in her whatsoever and I’ve been going for near 18 months with Albert. It was only yesterday my wife and I were talking about how I feel I’ve come on as a mentor for Albert away from Puddle Ducks as well now, but I’m so confident in the water with him and allowing him his freedom because of both of our confidence levels. This is completely thanks to Trish, not only does she teach Albert, she also teaches me too. And it works. I’m just as interested as him. Another onlooker only the other day said “not sure who enjoys it more, you or or your son” a question I didn’t have the answer to in honesty. Never in a bad mood, never rushes you in or out the pool, regardless of times or classes before/after you. Always smiling and happy to see you, very reassuring and settling and a lovely lady all round in my opinion. Makes it a joy to come to Puddle Ducks. A real asset to the company and a thorough deserved winner of Star Teacher. Oh, and Albert loves her too! Thanks to Trish, regardless of any award, she’s brought my son come on leaps and bounds with his swimming all round."
This term's wonderful winning nomination will now be sent on to our Head Office to be entered into the National Puddle Ducks Star Teacher award - Good Luck Trish!
