Choosing a winning nomination
Nominations were judged by Hannah Ismail, Centre Director at Code Ninjas, Hyde.
Hannah comments: “Being asked to judge the Autumn Term Star Teacher award was a tough task as all the entries were so lovely! In the end I picked the winning nomination because I felt it really showed what a difference Puddle Ducks Teachers are making to the lives of little ones and their love for swimming."

The winning nomination
The winning nomination came from Phoebe and Max's mum Becky, who swims at our Aqua Nurture pool.
"We absolutely love Trish, and love coming to our lessons every week! Trish is absolutely amazing with the children! I feel especially Phoebe has come on leaps and bounds in the last few months and that’s because Trish is attentive, pushes her to achieve the goal ie: turn under the water. She spends as much 1-2-1 time in each lesson as she can depending on the activity. Phoebe absolutely loves Trish and her classes, although the other teachers are good, Phoebe always says ‘I like Trish helping me swim mummy’. She has really pushed Phoebe to be an amazing little swimmer. We were on holiday recently and we had so many people come to us and say how much of a good swimmer she is for her age, which she wouldn’t be without our lessons with Trish.
Max also enjoys his lessons with Trish, again she knows each child and how far to push them in the class, he is also doing well and progressing. Trish is a lovely person, she is an amazing swim teacher and a million percent deserves this award. She is just the best!"
This term's winning nomination will now be sent on to our head office to be entered into the National Puddle Ducks Star teacher award - Good Luck Trish!
