Our incredible teacher, Gemma, has been announced as Star Teacher for Spring 2024.
The winning nomination came from Katherine, Sennen's granny who had these wonderful words to say about Gemma.
"Gemma is so lovely with the children in our group. She is brilliant at adapting what/how we are doing things in each class to meet the needs of the child at that time, and is enthusiastic, kind and has a lovely sense of humour. Gemma lets us help her count out the woggles and floats for the class if we arrive a bit early - and Sennen loves doing this. I must also let you know that Gemma is wonderful and supportive to us parents/carers - so thoughtful in how she welcomes new parents and children and helpful to people who have been coming a while to help us ensure we are doing everything correctly. Thank you, Gemma - you are our swimming teacher star. Sennen loves you!"
You can find Gemma in Tilehurst on Tuesdays, Hampshire Court Hotel on Thursdays, Forest school on Saturdays and Caversham on Sundays...she sure is busy, delivering those wonderful swimming lessons of hers. Congratulations Gemma!!
