Our Star Teacher winner for Spring '24 is ......

A huge congratulations to Pam!!

The Puddle Ducks Nottinghamshire and North Leicestershire Star Teacher – Spring 2024 is...... Pam Garget!!!! 

We often say we have the #bestjobintheworld and the nominations that our customers have sent in for #StarTeacherAward are an absolute testament to that, thankyou!!

Laura Jonas, the owner of Lots for Tots Nottinghamshire, a free magazine showcasing what’s on & what’s available for the under-fives and their siblings throughout the county, selected the winning nomination from Lauren and Lola, a Little Dipper at The Key Health Club.

Laura let us know that she "enjoyed reading through all of the nominations but actually found it very hard to choose just one. It was very clear from each nomination, how special Puddle Ducks are, and how valued each and every member of the team is by children and parents alike. You must be so proud of the team".

She also wanted to explain why she chose the nomination from Lauren and Lola: "There are few greater joys in life than seeing your children grow and learn. It was clear from this nomination that Pam has been more than just a swimming teacher. Pam has played an instrumental role in the life of the children that she teaches, both professionally and intuitively to help create a culture of happiness AND confidence in the water!"

We are definitely so proud of ALL our team but a huge congratulations to Pam with an absolutely fantastic nomination:

"I would like to nominate Pam for Star Teacher. Her dedication and expertise have transformed my daughter Lola’s journey in the pool since she was a few months old. Now nearing three, Lola is not only almost swimming independently but radiates confidence in the water, all thanks to Pam's nurturing guidance.

Pam's approach is exemplary. She tailors each lesson to the child, fostering a safe and engaging atmosphere. Her keen eye knows precisely when to challenge and when to support, ensuring progress and enjoyment.

Witnessing Lola’s joy in the pool, my husband described getting a bit “misty eyed” during a session he was able to watch. I think this reflects the joy that Pam is able to create in her lessons. Pam totally embodies the essence of a star teacher and her contribution to Puddle Ducks is invaluable."

Pam teaches our Baby and Pre School lessons at The Key Health Club, the Nottingham Hilton Hotel and the Mercure Nottingham Sherwood Hotel. 

She will now be a contender for the national Puddle Ducks Star Teacher award – Good luck Pam and many congratulations as this is very well deserved!!
