Every month, we ask our teachers to nominate their Swimming Stars of the Month so a massive congratulations to the following super star swimmers for December!!
Annabelle, who is in Swim Academy at West Gate School was nominated by her teacher Rebecca P:
"Annabelle comes to class every week and gives it her all. She listens, tries very hard and is improving each week - always with a smile on her face. I am so proud of her and how far she has come since Little Dippers. Well done Annabelle!"
Ayush, who is in Swim Academy at The Portland Centre was nominated by his teacher Rachael:
"Ayush really throws himself into his lessons and works super hard every week. He is always smiling and laughing. He is good at watching and copying what we do and recently he has started to swim using not just his legs but arms aswell."
Annabel, who is a Little Dipper at The Sherwood Hotel was nominated by her teacher Nikola:
"Annabel has achieved her first independent standing jumps and every time has a big smile on her face! This is a big milestone for her with the extra challenges that it involves for her. I am so proud of how far she has come!"
Evelyn, who is in Swim Academy at The Key Health Club was nominated by her teacher Rebecca:
"Evelyn gets my vote because she has really tried hard in her lessons and her hard work has paid off with her 10m distance swim. Evelyn is a beautiful swimmer but she often gets upset about coming into the pool but over the last number of weeks, she has been smiling and chatting away to me. I feel that she is starting to believe how good she is and her confidence is growing. Evelyn, you are a great swimmer!!"
Tommy-Jack, who is in Swim Academy at The Portland Centre was nominated by his teacher Rebecca:
"Tommy started as a Little Dipper with his Dad in the water and we then moved him into Swim Academy without a parent in the water - this can be a big change for a 4 year old but Tommy has embraced it and always comes to his lessons with a smile on his face. He is in quite a lively class and he is very mature and remains focused during his lesson. Recently, I have watched his confidence grow and he has recently swam with his face in the water blowing bubbles and taking a breath. He was so close to achieving is 5m distance swim. Keep up the good work Tommy - you can do it!"
Well done everyone - your Stars of the Month certificates will be on their way to you very shortly!
