On Saturday 8th April, 4 teams of Swim Academy children took part in the 2017 Swimathon raising money for Marie Curie.
The challenge took place at Kidlington & Gosford Leisure Centre and each team had to swim 60 lengths. The children all exceeded expectations and although we had our teachers on stand by to swim any extra lengths needed to meet our target, not one of them was needed!
We exceeded our target of raising £1,000 and will update you all soon with our final total raised.
We are extremely proud of all our swimmers who made such a huge effort and to all those people who donated towards this great cause.
