Paula is joining our team as a Puddle Ducks Baby & Pre-school swimming teacher this term.
I met Paula a few years ago now when we were at a Mothercare Expectant Parent event, and so was lovely when she expressed an interest in becoming a swimming teacher for us. Paula has so far gained her STA Baby & Pre-School teaching certificate and lifesaving qualification, and is now on the next part of her journey, to learn the Puddle Ducks way. That’s the Puddle Ducks difference!
Here is a little bit about Paula……
“I am married with two boys. We love going to our caravan at the seaside. I have been working in accounts and finance since leaving school. Four years ago I qualified as a Baby Massage and Baby Yoga Instructor and have been running courses part time. I really enjoy teaching the parents and babies and wanted something else to do along-side. I did Baby Swimming classes with both my boy's and I really enjoyed it and realised the importance of teaching them the life skills that could save their lives if they ever fell into water. I am really excited about becoming part of the Puddle Ducks team after I have completed my training. I'd like to thank the team and the parents and babies that are helping to make this happen”.
