The Great North Swim is the iconic outdoor mass participation swim at Lake Windermere, where participants swim for one mile in the open water, enjoying the scenery and raising money for amazing charities close to their hearts.
Our Franchisee Jenny Brown and senior teacher Amy Boland-Maskell will both be donning their wetsuits and taking part to raise sponsorship the event takes place on the weekend of June 9th to the 11th with thousands of new and experienced swimmers all grabbing their goggles for this amazing experience, 2016 saw over 10,000 participants wading in.
Jenny and Amy have their training regime’s in hand and have already noticed the huge improvements to their health and fitness that all this extra swimming has brought.
